Halo ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Halo mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

• Detect when you enter or exit defined Focus Zones
• Trigger app blocking based on your zone settings

You can disable location services at any time through your device settings.

1.4 Screen Time Data (iOS)

If you grant Screen Time permission, we access:

• Aggregate daily screen time usage
• App category usage data
• Device activity information for app blocking functionality

This data is processed locally using Apple's Screen Time API and Family Controls framework. Screen Time data is never transmitted to our servers and remains on your device. You can revoke this permission at any time through your device's Screen Time settings.

We may automatically collect certain information about your device, including:

• Device model and operating system version
• Unique device identifiers (if applicable)

• Local device storage for zones, preferences, and screen time data

These third-party services may collect, use, and share your information in accordance with their own privacy policies and Apple's standard iOS data collection practices. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services.

6. Your Rights

• Revoke location and Screen Time permissions

7. Data Retention

All your data is stored locally on your device. To remove your data:

• Uninstall the app to delete all local data
• Reset focus zones through the app settings
• Revoke permissions in your device settings

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
